The Max Tile has interlocking edges designed for a quick DIY installation. You can easily install them yourself and won’t need to hire someone to install them for you.

Installation Over Carpet

Max Tiles perform best when installed over a hard, flat surface, but due to their raised base, these modular floor tiles can also be installed over low-pile carpet*. The results of installation over carpet may vary depending on the carpet. Please contact our customer service team if you have any questions.

*Installation over carpet can vary in results. Best results are obtained when installed over low-pile carpet. Connecting the tiles together over the carpet can be made easier by using plywood underneath as you are connecting the tiles together.
