ChargeGuard and SilverBack Feature

Pet Heaven Turf features ChargeGuard, which reduces static discharge. ChargeGuard is built into the blades of synthetic grass, giving them resistance to static electricity buildup, which is important in playgrounds where equipment could have a static buildup. This artificial turf also has antimicrobial protection.

This pet turf also features Silverback which is an exceptional polyurethane coating for synthetic turf that surpasses industry standards. Unlike typical coatings, Silverback saturates the primary dual-layered polyurethane backing and penetrates into the tuft, effectively securing the turf blades in place. This unique process creates a tuft lock that exceeds industry norms.

Installation

Outdoor artificial turf requires a base layer of a 4-inch layer of compacted crushed stone or a similar compacted surface. The artificial turf will need to be off-loaded from the shipping truck by hand, which requires two or more people. Artificial turf can be cut to fit if needed. Seam tape may be necessary if you are putting two or more pieces together. Turf will need to be secured along the edges with nails or staples.

Many people will have a contractor install artificial turf, but some people choose to do the installation themselves.
