There’s no need to hire a pro to perform the flooring layout, because the puzzle edges snap together with very little effort and with no need to use glue.

Our MMA mats measure 40 by 40 inches and provide a good value per square foot of coverage. The large-size mats for sale allow the installation process to go quickly, meaning you can do the work during normal off-hours without having to close the studio or cancel classes.

These large-sized mats are ideal for commercial martial arts studios, as smaller mats will have more interlocking seams. For home use or small sizes, we recommend the Home BJJ Mats, as the 2×2 foot size ships via ground delivery, while large mats ship via freight truck.

Each tile comes with 4 borders to create a finished edge look. Optional border ramps in the color gray are available to create a transition to reduce tripping hazards.

Our double-sided, reversible tiles have different colors on each side, so you can designate different spaces in the studio via the color patterns on the flooring.

We offer five different total colors in various color combinations. Additionally, you can mix and match mats because each grapple mat uses the same puzzle edge design. Reversible color options include:

Disclaimer

Color variation is possible from lot to lot, even within the same order. Using a checkerboard or other multi-color pattern can help make this variation less noticeable.

When the coloring from the martial arts puzzle mats comes off on feet or uniforms, this is not uncommon with BJJ puzzle mats. We find that red and black are the most susceptible colors to this issue.

These can expand in heat and humidity. Allow tiles to acclimate before installation.

Mat thickness tolerance is plus or minus 2 mm from 40 mm as the standard baseline thickness. Existing mats may not interlock with new mats due to natural expansion and wear of used mats. Please contact customer service about any concerns.

Maintenance

This product can be damp mopped with hot water. Test your vacuum before use.
