Trowel Size:
Rubber: 1/16 x 1/16 inch V-notch trowel
Cork Underlayment: 3/32 in V- or U-notch trowel

Cure Time: 12 hour minimum

Installation Tips

If the correct trowel and the surface are relatively smooth, expect average coverage per gallon of material, and if the surface is a little more open or rough, the yield will go down.

If the adhesive is cold, it will be difficult to trowel, and the yield will go down. Also, if it is cold, you will leave more in the bucket, which will impact the yield. Only use the adhesive at room temperature.

If they use a 3/32-inch V versus a 1/16-inch V, expect the yield to go down by about 1/3.

For the urethanes and other high-viscosity adhesives, you need to have more adhesive in front of the trowel. It makes it easier to push around and leaves a more uniform coating on the floor.
